FeaturesAn object is photographed from various viewing directions to obtain digital images that are processed using powerful image processing software. The 3-D coordinates of the measurement points at which targets are placed are calculated precisely. |

1. High accuracy and precisionAccuracy is better than 1:100,000 of the object size. This means that accuracy is 0.025〜0.050 mm for a 3-m object and 0.1 mm for a 10-m object. |

2. Application at various locationsMeasurements in narrow spaces are possible so long as a photographing distance of over 1 m is assured. The highly portable system makes it possible to detour around obstacles between the camera and the object. |

3. Short data processing timeAfter data acquisition, the digital images are processed on a personal computer. The analysis time is about 1〜2 hours. |

4. Comparison with other 3-D measurement systemsThis system can measure large objects that are not measurable with contact type 3-D systems. It also provides measurements without moving the object being measured. The highly portable system is easy to transport and does not require a total station. Data acquisition time is 50% faster. |
